Etsy Canada Post label to 4x6
Haven't bought the Etsy label yet? In Shop Manager → Settings → Shipping settings → Shipping label options, choose the 4×6 format before you buy postage.
Etsy's help notes that only USPS labels can be formatted for 4×6 label printers — Canada Post, Royal Mail, Evri and other carriers still arrive as a full page.

How to print an Etsy Canada Post label on 4x6 labels
- In Etsy, open the Canada Post label you purchased and save the PDF.
- Drop it into the tool above — the Canada Post preset searches the top of the page for the label.
- Check the 4×6 preview; the tool rotates a sideways label automatically. Drag the box if anything is cut off.
- Click Download 4x6 PDF and print at 100% / Actual size on 4×6 in (102×152 mm) thermal labels.

Why can't I set Canada Post labels to 4x6 in Etsy?
Etsy's help says only USPS shipping labels can be formatted for 4×6 label printers. Labels from other carriers, including Canada Post, are provided as a full page, so you need to crop them yourself.
Why does my Canada Post label print across two labels?
The PDF page is 8.5×11 (letter), but the printer is loaded with 4×6 labels, so the driver splits the page over two (or more) labels. Crop the PDF to a 4×6 page here, then print with paper size 4×6 and scale 100%.
Why is my Canada Post label tiny in the middle of the page?
The 4×6 label sits on a full 8.5×11 (letter) page and the printer shrinks the whole page to fit — so the label and barcode come out small. Cropping to just the label makes it print full-size.
I already downloaded the label — do I have to buy or regenerate it?
No. Drop the PDF you already have into the tool: it crops the existing label onto a 4×6 / 6×4 page without changing its content, so you don't need to void, re-buy or regenerate anything.
Will Canada Post accept a cropped label?
Cropping keeps the label content exactly as Etsy generated it, just on a 4×6 page — nothing is redrawn or changed. Always check that the barcode and address print clearly before sending.
Are my labels uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF or image is read and converted entirely inside your browser with JavaScript (pdf.js and pdf-lib). Nothing is sent to a server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
How do I print the 4x6 PDF correctly?
Open the downloaded PDF, choose your thermal label printer, set the paper size to 4×6 in (100×150 mm) and the scale to 100% / "Actual size" (not "Fit to page"). Then print.
